Forskningssamarbejde lokalt, nationalt og internationalt
Forskere ved HCA Forskning samarbejder bredt med forskere inden for mange fagområder på OUH og med forskere på landets øvrige børneafdelinger, på SDU, KU og AUH. Internationalt samarbejde foregår i flere europæiske referencenetværk og med forskere i bl.a. USA og Australien.
Forskere ved HCA Forskning samarbejder internt på OUH om forskning med mange parter, bl.a. Kirurgisk afdeling, Endokrinologisk afdeling, Neurologisk Afdeling, Gynækologisk Obstetrisk Afdeling, Klinisk Genetisk Afdeling, Nuclearmedicinsk Afdeling, Børne- og Ungepsykiatri Odense, Hudafdeling og Allergicentret, Intensiv Afdeling, Center for Innovativ Medicinsk Teknologi (CIMT) og Steno Diabetes Center Odense (SDCO).
Blandt nationale samarbejdspartnere er øvrige børneafdelinger i Danmark, institutter og centre på SDU (Institut for Molekylær Medicin, Institut for Biokemi og Molekylær Biologi, Miljømedicin, Center for Compassion i Sundhedsvæsenet (CCS), Family focused healthcare research Center (FaCe)), Dansk kvalitetsdatabase for nyfødte (RKKP), Neocol (KU), Rygcenter Syddanmark (Sygehus Lillebælt), Funktionelle Lidelser (AUH), Professionshøjskolerne UCL og UCN, Dansk BørneLunge Center på Rigshospitalet og BørneCenter for Lunge- og Allergisygdomme (AUH).
Internationalt forskningssamarbejde sker bl.a. gennem European Society of Pediatric Research (ESPR), Centre for Online Health, Brisbane, Australien og De Europæiske Referencenetværk (ERN) inden for områderne Bond (knoglelidelser), ENDO (endokrine sygdomme), Ithaca (medfødte misdannelser og sjælden intellektuel funktionsnedsættelse) ERNICA (arvelige og medfødte anomalier) og TransplantChild (nyretransplantationer).
