Dr. Eimear Kenny

Dr. Kenny is an internationally recognized leader in population and computational genomics. Her work is pioneering diversity-driven approaches in genomic health and integrating large‑scale sequencing into clinical care to promote equity and precision in medicine.
Kenny is the principal investigator on multiple large, NIH-funded international consortia advancing genomic medicine and computational genomics, including eMERGE, PRIMED, CSER, GSP, TOPMed, PAGE and HPRC. A strong advocate for diversity in genomic research, her work aims to improve access to genomic medicine for global populations. She has also led multiple genetics-based clinical trials.
